Robin Thomas

Senior Vice President, Research The Tribune Company

Ms. Thomas’ professional background reflects twenty-five years of experience in media and marketing research, working with several of the world’s leading communication and entertainment companies.  She is currently part an executive team in Los Angeles, overseeing all facets of research for Tribune Studios and WGN America.  Prior to joining Tribune, Thomas was part of the Disney-ABC Television Group senior leadership team providing strategic research to Disney-ABC Domestic Television, ABC Studios, ABC Multi-platform, ABC Affiliate Relations and ABC Network. Ms. Thomas spent twenty years building a career within Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., serving lastly as Vice President of Programming Research for TNT, TBS and TCM in Atlanta.  Ms. Thomas is a member for the Council for Research Excellence and a graduate of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute.  Ms. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in Broadcast Management from the University of Georgia.  She lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband and four sons.
