Peter V. Miller (PhD Michigan) is Associate Professor and Chair
of the Department of Communication Studies at Northwestern University.
Dr. Miller teaches and conducts research on public opinion and
research methods, focusing on issues of validity in social science
approaches to media research, including public opinion polls and
audience measurements, and on the role of survey research in public
policy. He is editor of the scholarly journal, Public Opinion Quarterly.
