MARK A. KALINE
Global Media Manager
Ford Motor Company

Mark Kaline joined Ford Motor Company in 1997 as Broadcast Media Manager as part of the Company’s newly formed consolidated media buying operation. Today, as Global Media Manager, his responsibilities include the coordination and execution of consolidated media buys on behalf of Ford’s automotive and service brands. Those brands include: Ford Division, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin, Ford Customer Service, and Ford Credit.

Kaline’s primary responsibility is the day-to-day management of Ford’s media operations in the U.S., as well as directing their dedicated media buying agency Ford Motor Media, a wholly owned subsidiary of J. Walter Thompson. In addition, his responsibilities include the development of consolidated media buying operations in other regions of the world. To date, Kaline has orchestrated Ford’s consolidated media buying efforts and shared best practices in Europe and in Canada, and has provided support for media buying direction in Asia and Latin America.

In addition to his media duties, Kaline also oversees Ford Motor Company's Global Brand Entertainment team, responsible for identifying, evaluating, executing and measuring the Company's brand integration and product placement efforts with major studios, networks, and independent producers.

Before joining Ford Motor Company, Kaline’s career included more than 20 years in advertising and related media industries, including senior media positions at Campbell Ewald Advertising in Detroit, and Ogilvy & Mather in Chicago.
